Meet Elizabeth LePley
I have dedicated my legal career to helping injured workers, policyholders, and individuals navigate challenging situations and obtain the benefits and compensation they deserve. My practice focuses on workers' compensation, personal injury, insurance bad faith, and ERISA litigation. Since being admitted to practice law in Washington in 2008, I have spent more than 17 years advocating for clients throughout the state.
I understand that most people don't seek legal help during easy times in their lives. Whether you've suffered a workplace injury, are facing a difficult insurance dispute, or are struggling to access benefits you're entitled to receive, my goal is to guide you through the process, protect your rights, and help you move forward with confidence.
In addition to representing clients, I have been actively involved in improving Washington's workers' compensation system through my work with the Washington State Association for Justice. Over the years, I have served as Chair and Co-Chair of the Workers' Compensation Committee, served on the organization's Board of Governors, and continue to participate on both the Legislative Steering Committee and Workers' Compensation Committee. I have also worked closely with legislators and the Department of Labor & Industries on legal and policy issues affecting injured workers across Washington.
I am admitted to practice in Washington state courts, the United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Washington, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. I earned my Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law and my Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Washington University.
I am honored to have been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star from 2014 through 2018 and selected as a Washington Super Lawyer from 2020 through 2026. While these accolades are meaningful, the most rewarding part of my work is helping clients achieve positive outcomes and knowing they have someone in their corner when they need it most.
When I'm not practicing law, you will likely find me at a hockey rink. My husband and I have been married for nearly 20 years, and much of our family life revolves around youth hockey. I serve on the Board of the Backyard Hockey League and volunteer as a team manager for my children's teams. The lessons I see every day through sports, hard work, perseverance, teamwork, and determination, are the same values I bring to my legal practice and to every client I represent.
